Hi There

Just started using Omnigraffle for the production of UX assets.

Through the Konigi OmniGraffle Templates i've discovered a really cool feature that allows you to enter diagram elements in the outliner view. You can then apply a diagram style to render the outline as boxes and arrows.

I'd really like to be able to copy and paste the headings from a source document and for them to render as child parent elements to automate the documentation process. However this is problematic. The source info is all copied into the first node.

I've tried formatting the source data as CSV or tabbed delimited file with no luck.

Has anyone done this before? Is it achievable?

Thanks

Matt

I don't think this is possible -- at least not with the software as it comes out of the box. After playing around with this last night, it just seems to take any pasted content and put it into a single box, as you've found. It's annoying, when you consider it!

It is definitely something I would get in contact with them about, as their email support (support@omnigroup.com) is usually very quick and responsive.

(If you have Pro, you might be able to AppleScript something together, but that'll probably be more work than reward.)
